Acts 20

There are a few miscellaneous portions to this chapter...a little "mapquest" action with point by point detail on their travels. ..an account of "Lucky" falling out a window...and then Paul's farewell message to his dear friends. Give the podcast a listen if you'd like. Here are the starting points from our discussion on Sunday night. Please share your insights and thoughts...
What would you share with others if you knew it were the last time you would see them?

Paul’s task and instruction is as true today as it was at the time he gave them. How do we live that out in our time and place? (vs. 24, 27, 28...)

What other questions or topics does this passage raise?

Paul demonstrates a divinely inspired focus and purpose of mission that is motivating and humbling at the same time. I sat there last night trying to grasp what it would feel like to have that kind of passion about God and the lives of others. Fast forward to later in the night... While flipping between the Indians and Steelers, yelling at the television with emotion, passion and frustration it dawned on me that I demonstrate more passion for a bunch of guys that I've never met - who have never done anything for me, than I demonstrate for Jesus who gave his life for me. What a shame that it took me this long to figure that out. But the true test is - will I do something about it? Will I begin to show some of the emotion and passion that I have historically reserved for sports in other, vastly more important areas of my life?
